    COVID-19 Testing & Treatment
    Medically necessary testing and treatment for Coronavirus is covered.
    Ski & Snowboard Injury Coverage
    Accidental injury from on-piste snow skiing & boarding, leading to charges incurred at a hospital or outpatient facility (such as a clinic or doctors office) that is medically necessary.
    Intensive Care
    Daily room and board, nursing services and Ancillary Services in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
    Lost Checked Luggage & Theft of Personal Belongings
    The plan will reimburse up to the limit, your cost of; lost checked luggage when luggage was permanently lost in transit by a common carrier, and; your personal property or valuables when items were stolen and a police report obtained.
    Prescription Medication
    Drugs that require a prescription by a Physician for Treatment of Illness or Injury, but not for the replacement of lost, stolen, damaged, expired or otherwise compromised drugs, and for a maximum supply of 90 days of any one prescription.
    Medical & Political Evacuation
    Transportation to the insured persons country of residence for medical or political evacuation.
    Return of Mortal Remains
    Charges incurred to return the mortal remains to your country of residence. Or, charges incurred for local burial or cremation at the place of death.
    Accidental Death & Dismemberment
    The plan will pay in the amount of the principal sum for an accidental death or dismemberment.
    Trip Interruption
    Due to unexpected death of a relative or as a result of a break-in or substantial destruction due to a fire or natural disaster to your principal residence, the plan will reimburse for the cost of a one-way ticket up to the limit.
    Personal Liability
    The plan will pay or reimburse your eligible court-entered judgements or settlements arising as a result of or in connection with your acts, omissions and other occurrences covered under this insurance.

    What ages can get Global Travel Cover?
    All ages from less than 1 to over 80 can be enrolled in our plans, so long as the purchaser is of the age of majority and completes the checkout process.
    What if I am already overseas?
    Unlike most other insurance companies, we do not require you to be in your home country at the time of purchase or in order to 'activate' your policy, meaning wherever you are right now, you can get your global travel cover and continue with your adventures, knowing you're instantly covered.
